There are more note-taking apps (such as good notes and notability) on the iPad but the apps on the Samsung are fine. The Tab S7 is preloaded with both Samsung notes and noteshelf. Noteshelf, previously an iOS-only app, is more or less on the same level of good notes and notability. from what I saw, the two apps will do more then fine for me. Go for S6 lite.
