Yeah, my idea would be for it to be like FF14, you can have multiple professions on one character, but you still have to level those professions up. My idea was you could switch your active profession in your home instance. When this happens, all your Hero Points will be refunded, so you can then use those hero points to get skills and
Posted March 3, 2022. The lack of patch notes for the specialization seems to look like Anet is not happy to share what they did to them and understand that the player base would not be happy about it to. This has got to be the worst group of specialization or at least the worst way to add them to the game. 9. 1.
Edits: many professions can wirhnvferybhu well for open world, and some for Open Worldn but depending on your goal, some are better than others. this. any class have more than one dps builds, so you can go into strikes/raids too, but there is different playstyle, feeling of the class, rangled/melee for openworld etc
Members. 2.5k. Posted March 27, 2018. The playtime on GW2efficiency is probably more relevant than the raw # of characters of any given profession. Most people, myself included, would like to have one of each class in their char slots. The difference is how much time you spend on any given profession. @otto.5684 said:
In Guild Wars 2, there are different classes you can choose from depending on what kind of combat that you're interested in. There are nine total base professions that you'll play through a lot of the early and midgame with. Once you hit level 80, you'll have the option to pick an elite specialization to change up how the profession plays.
Guild Wars Nightfall professions [] The following are the new professions added in Guild Wars Nightfall. They can be created only in Elona, but they may travel to any other continent (if you have the corresponding campaign) through a quest. Paragon (P) [] Leadership: Every 2 ranks gives 1 Energy for each ally affected by shouts and chants used
Has charge and slow skills that complements it and is huge bonus bring more movement to the warrior. Hammer: This weapon is the most increadible weapon to control the battle, a lot of cc,slow and interrupts. And 2 or 3 skill that can do high dmg if applied correctly, but it does less dmg than the greatsword. LongBow:
Only reason is you don't have multiple alts at 80 and don't want to level any more to 80. But if you do, t's easier to spread your crafting disciplines amongst them. 2 per alt over 4 alts, or less with the crafting expander on the gem store (3 crafting disciplines per character).
With SOTO, many classes can do 42k+ benchmark now. Below is the list of classes that can do 42k+ (up to 49k) DPS against golem when played by the top players. This does not include multiple classes that could already do 42k+ in the previous patch, most of which likely do more DPS now. There's at least one elite spec per profession on this list.
- (Sylvari) Take root: a 3s invuln that can be priceless on builds that lack survivability and don't have great elite skills choices. - (Asura) Technobabble and pain inverter: Both skills have decent effects for decent CD which is rare. - (Charr) Shrapnel mine: It is stronger than many profession skills, thought few even think about using it.
